Roll Call Votes

1.       Passage of S.J.Res.53, providing for congressional disapproval under chapter 8 of title 5, United States Code, of the rule submitted by the Environmental Protection Agency relating to "Repeal of the Clean Power Plan; Emission Guidelines for Greenhouse Gas Emissions From Existing Electric Utility Generating Units; Revisions to Emission Guidelines Implementing Regulations"; not agreed to: 41-53.

2.       Passage of S.J.Res.54, terminating the border wall national emergency declared by the President on February 15, 2019, notwithstanding the objections of the President to the contrary [veto override]; not agreed to: 53-36.

Adopted S.Res.364: congratulating the Washington Mystics on winning the 2019 Women’s National Basketball Association championship.

 

Adopted S.Res.365: designating October 16, 2019, and October 16, 2020, as “World Food Day”.

 

Passed Calendar #163, S.2258: Criminal Antitrust Anti-Retaliation Act of 2019.

 

Passed Calendar #214, H.R.1396: Hidden Figures Congressional Gold Medal Act.

 

Passed S.2635: Saudi Fugitive Declassification Act of 2019.

 

Completed the Rule 14 process to place the following on the Legislative Calendar of Business:

1.       S.J.Res.58: expressing support for freedom of conscience. (Sasse)

2.       H.J.Res.77: opposing the decision to end certain United States efforts to prevent Turkish military operations against Syrian Kurdish forces in Northeast Syria.

 

 Began the Rule 14 process to place S.2644 (Turkey sanctions) on the Legislative Calendar of Business.
