The Senate stands
adjourned until 9:30am on Thursday, June 14, 2018.
Following Leader remarks, the
Senate will resume consideration of H.R.5515, National Defense Authorization
Act.
At 10:30am, the cloture
motion with respect to the Toomey amendment #2700 (CIFIUS/REINS) will ripen and
the Senate will vote on the motion to invoke cloture on the amendment. If
cloture is not invoked, there will be an immediate cloture vote on the Inhofe
substitute amendment #2282, as modified (NDAA reported bill plus managers
package I). Cloture has also been filed on the underlying bill.
The filing
deadline for second-degree amendments is one hour prior to the cloture vote.
Additional roll
call votes are possible during Thursday’s session of the Senate.
