Cloture filed on House Message re: S.140, tribal labor bill

Cloture was invoked on the Jennings nomination by a vote of 94-2.  The nomination was then confirmed by voice vote.

The Senate then resumed Legislative session and Senator McConnell moved to concur in the House amendment to S.140, a bill to amend the White Mountain Apache Tribe Water Rights Quantification Act of 2010 to clarify the use of amounts in the WMAT Settlement Fund (tribal labor), and filed cloture on the motion. He then filled the amendment/motion tree. He moved to concur in the House amendment with an amendment, offered a second degree, and moved to refer the House message to the Committee on Indian Affairs with instructions to report back forthwith, and offered first and second degree amendments to the instructions (all date changes). We expect to set the cloture vote on the motion to concur for 5:30pm on Monday.
