Schedule for Tuesday April 10, 2018

The Senate stands adjourned until 10:00am on Tuesday, April 10, 2018.
 
Following leader remarks, the Senate will proceed to Executive Session and resume consideration of Executive Calendar #539, Claria Horn Boom, of Kentucky, to be US District Judge for the Eastern and Western Districts of Kentucky, post-cloture. At 12:10pm, there will be a roll call vote on confirmation of the Boom nomination.
 
Following the vote, the Senate will recess until 2:15pm to allow for the weekly caucus meetings.
 
At 2:15pm there will be a cloture vote on the Ring nomination.

If cloture is invoked on a nomination, there would be up to 30 hours of post-cloture debate prior to a vote on confirmation. Then on to cloture on the next nomination with the same process.
 
During Monday’s session, the Senate reached an agreement that at a time to be determined, there will be 10 hours for debate equally divided prior to a vote on confirmation of Executive Calendar #376, Carlos G. Muniz, of Florida, to be General Counsel, Department of Education.
