Following Leader remarks, the Senate will proceed to Executive Session to consider the following nominations concurrently:
1. Executive Calendar #193, the nomination of Owen West, of Connecticut, to be an Assistant Secretary of Defense; and
2. Executive Calendar #241, the nomination of J. Paul Compton, Jr., of Alabama, to be an General Counsel of the Department of Housing and Urban Development.
At 5:30pm, the Senate will vote on confirmation of the nominations.
