Shelby objects to Brown Executive nomination requests

Senator Brown asked unanimous consent that the Committee on Banking, Housing, and Urban Affairs be discharged from further consideration and the Senate vote on confirmation of the following Executive nominations:

PN 371,  Adam Szubin, for Treasury Under Secretary for Terrorism and Financial Crimes;

PN 86, Adewale Adeyemo, to be Treasury Assistant Secretary for International Markets and Development;

PN 288, Patricia Loui-Schmicker, to be a Member of the Board of Directors of the EX-IM Bank;

PN 208, Amias Gerety, to be Treasury Assistant Secretary for Financial Institutions;

PN 41, Therese McMillan, to be Administrator of the Federal Transit Administration; and

PN 65, Jay Lerner, to be Inspector General  of the FDIC.

Senator Shelby objected to the requests.
