First degree amendment filing deadline 4:00pm; 5:30pm roll call vote reminder

As a reminder to all Senators, during last Thursday's session, Senator McConnell laid before the body the message to accompany H.R.34, 21st Century Cures Act, moved to concur in the House amendment to the Senate amendment, and filed cloture on the motion.

The filing deadline for first degree amendments is 4:00pm today.

At 5:30pm today, the Senate will vote on the motion to invoke cloture on the motion to concur in the House amendment to the Senate amendment to H.R.34 (Cures). If cloture is invoked, there will then be up to 30 hours of debate followed by a vote on the motion to concur.
