Consideration of Bryson nomination

The Senate is now in Executive Session and is considering Calendar #410, the nomination of John Bryson to be Commerce Secretary.   Senator Reid announced that we expect debate time to be yielded back and a vote on confirmation of the Bryson nomination between 6:30pm and 7:30pm tonight.  When a roll call vote is set, another message will be sent.  The details of the previous order are below.

Under the previous order, there are 4 hours for debate equally divided between Senators Rockefeller and Hutchison or their designees.  The final 20 minutes of debate will be equally divided and controlled between the two Leaders or their designees regardless of any time consumed in quorum calls.

Upon the use or yielding back of time, the Senate will proceed to vote on confirmation of the nomination with a 60-vote threshold.
