The Senate stands adjourned until 9:30am on Wednesday, September 28, 2016.
Following any Leader remarks, the Senate will resume consideration of H.R.5325, the legislative vehicle for the short-term CR, until 10:00am.
At 10:00am, the Senate will resume consideration of the veto message on S.2040, JASTA. Under the previous order, there will be 2 hours of debate, divided between the leaders or their designees. Upon the use or yielding back of time, the Senate will vote on passage of the bill, the objections of the President to the contrary notwithstanding (veto override).
Approximately 12:00 noon - 1 roll call vote expected
- Passage of S.2040, JASTA, the objections of the President to the contrary notwithstanding.
Additional roll call votes are possible during Wednesday's session.
