Senate Floor Schedule For Tuesday, September 28, 2010
- Morning Business until 11:10am with Senators permitted to speak for up to 10 minutes each therein, during which Senators may make tributes to the late Senator Ted Stevens.
- At 11:10am, there will be 20 minutes of debate prior to a roll call vote on the motion to invoke cloture on the motion to proceed to S.3816, with the time equally divided and controlled between the two Leaders or their designees.
- At 11:30am, the Senate will proceed to a roll call vote on the motion to invoke cloture on the motion to proceed to S.3816. If cloture is not invoked, a second roll call vote will occur immediately on the motion to invoke cloture on the motion to proceed to H.R.3081, the legislative vehicle for the continuing resolution.
- For the information of all Senators, former Senator Stevens will be laid to rest at Arlington National Cemetery. Buses will depart the Senate steps at 12:15pm.
