Agreement on S.1177, Every Child Achieves Act

The Senate has reached an agreement that results in a cloture vote on the substitute at approximately 12:30pm today. We expect an additional series of votes this afternoon (could be around 3pm) and more tomorrow morning.

Under the order, it is in order to call up a number of amendments and agree to a managers package (listed below). We will dispose of the amendments by a mixture of roll call or voice votes. Upon disposition of the pending amendments and the substitute, and following the use or yielding back of the post-cloture time, there would be a cloture vote on the underlying bill.

The order is as follows:
