Cloture filed on compound motion to conference re: 2012, Energy Policy Modernization; up to 2 roll call votes at 3:30pm today
Senator McConnell asked that the Chair lay before the Senate the House message to accompany S.2012, Energy Policy Modernization Act, disagreed to the House amendment, agreed to the House request for a conference, and appointed the following conferees:
Senator Murkowski
Senator Barrasso
Senator Risch
Senator Cornyn
Senator Cantwell
Senator Wyden
Senator Sanders
Senator McConnell then filed cloture on the compound motion to go to conference. He further asked consent that the cloture vote occur at 3:30pm today, with the time from 2:15pm - 2:30pm controlled by Senator Boxer or her designee, that the time from 2:30pm - 3:00pm be controlled by the Republicans, and that the time from 3:00pm - 3:30pm be equally divided between the two Managers.
