Roll Call Vote on Reed motion to instruct conferees re: OCO funding

2:15pm The Senate began a 15 minute roll call vote on Reed motion to instruct the conferees re: OCO funding;

Not Agreed To: 44-52

The motion is as follows:

Mr. Reed moves that the managers on the part of the Senate at the conference on the disagreeing votes of the two Houses on H.R.1735 (the National Defense Authorization Act for Fiscal Year 2016) be instructed to insist that the final conference report fully fund the President's budget request for the Department of Defense, including $534.3 billion in base budget funding and $50.9 billion in Overseas Contingency Operations budget funding, thereby supporting the bipartisan view that the funding caps imposed by the Budget Control Act of 2011 should be eliminated or increased in proportionally equal amounts for the revised security and non-security spending categories.
