Senator Lee asks consent to set aside pending amendment

Senator Lee asked unanimous consent to set aside the pending amendment. Senator Leahy objected. If granted consent to set aside the pending amendment, he would have called up amendment #1207 (to prohibit the Secretaries of the Interior and Agriculture from taking action on public lands which impede border security on such lands).

Negotiations continue on how to proceed with the Immigration Reform bill. Senators will be notified when any votes are scheduled.
