Reed amendment withdrawn; Nelson amendment pending; up to 4 roll call votes at 11:00am
The Senate has resumed consideration of S.2943, the National Defense Authorization Act, with the time until 11:00am equally divided.
Senator Reed withdrew amendment #4603. Senator Nelson offered amendment #4670 (rocket engines) to amendment #4607.
At 11:00am, all post cloture time on S.2943 will expire and the Senate will begin a series of votes to dispose of any pending germane amendments and on passage of the bill as amended.
Upon disposition of NDAA, the Senate will vote on cloture on the motion to proceed to H.R.2578, Commerce, Justice, Science appropriations. If cloture is invoked on the motion to proceed to H.R.2578, it will be considered to have been invoked at 10:00pm, Monday, June 13. Discussions continue to have that vote after lunches.
