Following any Leader remarks, Senator Paul or his designee will be recognized to make a motion to discharge Senate Joint Resolution 42, relating to the disapproval of the proposed export to the Government of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia of certain defense articles, with the time until 12:30pm equally divided between proponents and opponents.
The Senate will recess from 12:30pm until 2:15pm for the weekly caucus meetings.
At 2:15pm, there will be 10 minutes remaining on the resolution, equally divided, before a vote in relation to the motion to discharge.
As a reminder, during today's session the Senate agreed to the motion to proceed to S.722, Iran Sanctions. Senator McConnell then filed cloture on SA #232 (Russia sanctions). Unless an agreement is reached, the cloture vote on the amendment will be 1 hour after the Senate convenes on Wednesday, June 14th. We expect to resume its consideration during Tuesday's session.
The filing deadline for second degree amendments to SA #232 is 1 hour prior to the cloture vote if cloture is invoked.
