Agreement on Rapuano nomination

The Senate has reached an agreement that at 5:00pm on Monday, June 12, the Senate proceed to Executive Session to consider the nomination of Kenneth P. Rapuano, of Virginia, to be Assistant Secretary of Defense. There will be up to 30 minutes for debate prior to a roll call vote on confirmation of the nomination. Following disposition of the nomination, the Senate will resume consideration of the motion to proceed to S.722, Iran Sanctions, with all post-cloture time considered expired. There will be at least one roll call vote at 5:30pm with the potential of a second.

There will be no further roll call votes this week.
