Cloture filed on Reed and McCain amendments to NDAA
This evening, Senator McConnell filed cloture on Reed amendment #4549 (non-defense increase) to McCain amendment #4229 (OCO increase) to S.2943, the National Defense Authorization Act.
He also filed cloture on McCain amendment #4229 (OCO increase)
The filing deadline for 2nd degree amendments to McCain amendment #4229 is one hour prior to the cloture vote.
Unless an agreement is reached, the cloture vote on Reed amendment #4549 will be one hour after the Senate convenes on Thursday, June 8. If cloture is not invoked, the Senate will immediately vote on McCain amendment #4229.
