Schedule for May 27, May 31, June 3, and Monday, June 6, 2016
The Senate stands adjourned to then convene for a pro forma session only, with no business conducted on the following dates and times:
Friday, May 27, at 12:30pm;
Tuesday, May 31, at 8:30am; and
Friday, June 3, at 1:00pm.
When the Senate adjourns on Friday, June 3, it will next convene at 2:00pm on Monday, June 6, 2016.
Following any Leader remarks, the Senate will be in a period of morning business until 4:00pm, with senators permitted to speak therein for up to 10 minutes each.
Following morning business, the motion to proceed to S.2943, the National Defense Authorization Act, will be agreed to. Senator Fischer, or her designee, with be recognized to offer her amendment #4206, with the time until 5:30pm equally divided. At 5:30pm, the Senate will vote on the Fischer amendment with no second degree amendments in order prior to the vote.
