Objection to committees to meet

Senator McConnell asked unanimous consent to allow committees to meet during today's session of the Senate. Senator Durbin objected because of the decision last night by the President of the United States to terminate the Director of the FBI and the questions that it's raised. Barring further action, committees have until 11:30am to meet.
