Agreement on Dava J. Newman--5:30pm vote Monday
The Senate has reached an agreement to vote on confirmation of the Newman nomination (NASA) on Monday, April 27th at 5:30pm.
Under the order, at 5:00pm, the Senate will proceed to Executive Session to consider Executive Calendar #75, the nomination of Dava J. Newman, of Massachusetts, to be Deputy Administrator of NASA. There will be 30 minutes for debate equally divided prior to a vote on confirmation of the nomination. If all time is used, the vote would occur at 5:30pm.
