Schedule for Thursday, March 23, 2017

The Senate stands adjourned until 9:30am on Thursday, March 23, 2017.

Following any Leader remarks, the Senate will resume consideration of S.J.Res.34, providing for congressional disapproval under chapter 8 of title 5, United States Code, of the rule submitted by the Federal Communications Commission relating to "Protecting the Privacy of Customers of Broadband and Other Telecommunications Services".  A roll call vote on passage of the joint resolution is possible before lunch.

As a reminder, during today's session Senator McConnell filed cloture on the nomination of Executive Calendar #20, David Friedman, to be Ambassador of the United States to Israel. Unless an agreement is reached, the cloture motion will ripen one hour after the Senate convenes on Friday, March 24th.
