Senate Floor Schedule For Monday, February 22, 2010
- Senator Burris will read Washington's Farewell Address.
- Upon conclusion of the reading, the Senate will resume consideration of the Motion to Concur with an amendment with respect to H.R.2847 (Jobs for Main Street Act).
- At 5:30pm, the Senate will proceed to a cloture vote with respect to the Jobs bill. That will be the first vote of the day.
- In addition to considering the Jobs bill, this week the senate will to turn to a short term extension of certain expiring tax provisions (we expect a 15 day extension that includes UI, COBRA, Satellite TV, Patriot Act and other expiring tax provision); a House Message with respect to HR1299 (Travel Promotion Act); and any other items on the Legislative or Executive calendars cleared for action.
