Senate Floor Schedule For Thursday, January 08, 2009
- At 10:30am the Senate will be in a period of morning business with senators permitted to speak for up to 10 minutes each.
- At 1 p.m., in the House Chamber, there will be a Joint Session of Congress to count the electoral ballots. All Senators are invited and should gather in the Senate Chamber at 12:45 p.m., to proceed as a body to the House Chamber.
- The Senate will recess from 3:30pm until 4:45pm to allow for a special Democratic caucus meeting.
- The next roll call vote is expected to occur at approximately 2:00pm Sunday.
