Schedule for Pro Forma Sessions and Monday, July 12, 2021
The
Senate stands adjourned to convene for pro forma sessions with no business
conducted on the following dates and times:
Monday, June 28th at 9:00 a.m.;
Thursday, July 1st at 11:00 a.m.;
Monday, July 5th at 2:30 p.m.; and
Thursday, July 8th at 12:00 Noon.
When the Senate adjourns on Thursday, July 8th, it will next convene at 3:00pm on Monday, July 12, 2021.
On Monday, following Leader remarks, the Senate will proceed to Executive Session to resume consideration of Motion to invoke cloture on Executive Calendar #67, Uzra Zeya, of Virginia, to be an Under Secretary of State (Civilian Security, Democracy, and Human Rights).
At 5:30pm, the Senate will vote on the motion to invoke cloture on the Zeya nomination.
